Dana Trivigno serves as the Program Director for the Boston Lady Whalers Spring/Summer Tournament Team Program, and will be at the helm of the 2005 Elite Team this spring/summer.
Dana hails from Setauket, NY, and currently plays for the Connecticut Whale in the National Women's Hockey League. In addition to her career in professional hockey, Dana is a member of the U.S. Women's National Team, and recently graduated as the captain of Boston College.
Prior to BC, Trivigno played at national powerhouse Shattuck St. Mary's School in Minnesota, where she served as a team captain. In her senior season at Boston College, Trivigno became just the 12th player in Boston College history to register 100 career points. She also received the 2016 Beanpot Tournament MVP honors, after she led her BC Eagles to the title. Dana is an annual participant in the U.S. Women's National program, most recently winning back to back Gold Medals at the Women's World Championships in Sweden (2015) and Canada (2016).
Dana has won numerous awards over her years, including Hockey-East Rookie of the Week, being a two-time member of the U.S. Under-18 National Team, and the 2014 U20 Four Nations Cup Team, 2016 Beanpot Championship, 2016 Beanpot Tournament MVP, and her two World Championships in 2015 & 2016.
Dana is looking forward to her role at the helm of the Boston Lady Whalers program, and is excited to help guide our Lady Whalers through their youth and high school hockey careers and on to more! |
